Starting today, a new forum is created which is dedicated entirely to BEYBLADE: Evolution, or 'Metal Fight Beyblade 4D X Zero-G Ultimate Tournament' as it'll called in Japan after December 19th 2013. All posts about the video game belong there now, and with several hundreds of parts available for customization in the game, multiple mini challenges and various tough Bladers on our way to the championship in the Story Mode, there's going to be a lot to discuss! Rising Star Games representatives will also be online once in a while to answer some of your questions, so grab them while they're here! The game is supposed to hold true to the parts' performance in real-life in some respect, plus there's an augmented reality feature where you can spin your Bey on your desk, so post your screenshots once it's out next Tuesday and share your different strategies with the rest of the world! There's a contest going on in November for Likers of the, so check out to find out more details and enter to win one of the fun prizes! This year, it'll be on July 13th & 14th.
Several celebrations are planned for these special days of the year where we pay tribute to the generations of Beyblades that started it all! Tournaments of the HMS or Plastic format! The world's most active Beyblade communities come together to focus all the events on one power-packed day! Additionally, the 1st to 5th place winners will have their choice of.

Face Contest: Design a Plastic Beyblade! The for the previous Face Contest: Beyblade Photography are barely out and you're rolling us with another Face Contest?!
That's right, one can't wait for the other! This time, the subject is related to the series that started it all: we want you to design a brand new Plastic generation Beyblade!
Will you design a new member of the GT Series? A Beyblade seen in the anime that wasn't released? Or maybe something completely new? To find out all the details of this Face Contest, make sure to check out the following topic!: New Face Booster for donations It's been a while since we've had changes in that area, so we're introducing a brand new Face Booster as thanks for donations: Face Booster WHITE II!
Since we really like all your generosity, we'll reveal the Faces included in this Face Booster. You'll find them in the Avatar Gallery, when you go to your User CP and click on the left on 'Change avatar'. Organized Play Rule Additions We also have a few important rule additions for Organized Play:. Credits: You now may only earn up to 8 Credits per week. For example, if you win one tournament (earning 5 Credits), and then place 2nd in another immediately afterwards, on the next day of that weekend, or any other day during that same week between Monday - Sunday (earning 4 Credits), instead of earning 9 Credits, you will earn 8 instead.
However, Extra Credits, such as the +1 offered for participating in HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day does not factor in to this count. Winning Combinations: Bladers who place within the top three at any given tournament are now required to submit a list of the combinations they won with, and it is the responsibility of the host to submit it to the Committee along with the results/fees/etc. Preferably, we would ask that the host posts the list in the thread and submit the list to us that way, but if a host cannot do that for some reason, submit it via PM and someone from the Committee will post it instead. Exceptions regarding the posting of combos will only be made for Bladers who plan on attending large-scale, international WBO tournaments similar to BEYBLADE REVOLUTION in the near future. Situations like this will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. However, regardless of the situation, a list must be submitted to the Committee.
New Global Moderators: Ingulit and Cannon! The time has come to add new members to our team, and two Bladers have shone their way to our reflections: Cannon and Ingulit! Welcome them all and welcome them well, they have been super great Members of the World Beyblade Organization! Watch ou- Oh hey! Looks like our very special guest has arrived finally! It's time for us to pass the mike to.
Dear World Bladers, The tradition is back! On May 25th and May 26th, the world will vibrate with the sound of our Beyheartbeats for the fifth year of BEYDAYS!! For this special occasion, we of course organised for all the Bladers in North America, and we prepared a few exciting activities for you as well. However, what's more crucial and at the very heart of BeyDays is the explosion of tournaments all around the world!
Here's what's already planned, and there could be more to come - it all depends on you! May 25th. Toronto, Ontario -, at Anime North 2013,.
Simsbury, Connecticut -, at Freemasons Hall,. Raleigh, North Carolina -, at Game Theory,. Jakarta, Indonesia -, at Pantai Indah Kapuk,. Napoli, Italy -, at Volver, May 26th. Mumbai, India -, at Landmark's Summer Carnival,. London, UK -, at Regents Park bandstand,. Silver Spring, Maryland -, at MLK Park, May 18th.
Semarang, Indonesia -, at Dian Nuswantoro University, (exception due to new community and special event only on that weekend) Come on guys, there are way more active Beyblade communities in the world than that! Get your Event Proposals in before it's too late! To help everyone out, we've got several cool features for you this year:. Regions who have never hosted a WBO tournament in the past will be able to hold a free event for BeyDays 2013 without the $5 entry fee!.
We will also waive the entry fee for regions that have not hosted an approved tournament in the last five months!. If you can't quite get the eight required confirmed participants yet, we'll send invites to the Members who signed up on the in your area to urge them to attend and have fun on BeyDays, before the Event Proposal is even approved! BeyDays, with all those exceptions, is the best opportunity to start up an active Beyblade scene in your region for the rest of the year! So, do you want to host a BeyDays 2013 tournament in your area?
If you're interested in hosting a tournament we strongly suggest first checking the to gauge interest. If you manage to gather enough interest (eight or more Bladers), please post a thread in the we will verify that you're headed in the right direction and will add your event to the list in this thread. If the tournament you host is successful, there are two things you must provide us with for your tournament to be considered 'official' (and thus be eligible for Faces, BeyPoints, Credits, the BeyLotto, etc), as we will not be 'approving' it officially beforehand:. At some point during your tournament, take a clear photo of all the participants. This can be posted here on the WBO after the tournament, or PMed to a Committee member for verification.
Provide us with correctly recorded results so that they can be input into the BeyPoint System. If you need help learning about how Round Robin, Block Round Robin or Double Elimination works, please see the for more information. Most importantly, remember, all results must be recorded chronologically and Hasbro stadiums are not legal. See the for a list of eligible stadiums. Your tournament will not become recognized as an officially sanctioned WBO tournament as a part of BeyDays 2013 until both of these requirements have been filled after the tournament has been completed.
And just as a note: if your tournament is approved afterwards as 'official', we still will not provide any reimbursement for prizes you purchase this time around, simply because nobody will have ended up paying an entry fee at the tournament. 2013 is no different than the past years, so each participant of a BeyDays tournament will receive the brand new Face of Days IV, simply for showing up and playing at an event! This year again, every participant of a BeyDays tournament will be automatically entered in this BeyLotto. The more tournaments you enter, the more chances you have in the lottery which will be done completely at random. Due to the restraints of holding a budget to pay for the travel expenses of the champions in North America though, we're only going to reveal the prizes available in the BeyLotto in the next few days, but you can totally bet, based on the previous editions of BeyDays, that they'll be super hot!!
There could even be WBO exclusivities, woo! For certain, we can unveil that the following Face Boosters will be up for grabs in the BeyDays BeyLotto, so this is your ultimate chance to get a sweet Face under your avatar!. Face Booster RED - Face Booster BLUE - Face Booster GREEN - Face Booster ORANGE - Face Booster YELLOW - Face Booster PURPLE - Face Booster CRIMSON - Face Booster AZURE Purchasing or currently having a Blader Passport will ensure you a very special place in the results if you are picked! For example, the first three winners will be Passport Holders, as thanks for your support towards the World Beyblade Organization! Blader Passports can be purchased at the cost of $10 US either, or at any official WBO tournament.
Submit tournament footage, gain extra BeyLotto entries! On top of that, this year, if you film scenes at the BeyDays tournament you attend and put the footage together for the, you'll get an extra entry in the BeyLotto! Show us what your community's like and how intense the battles were! If you have footage please send follow the guidelines outlined and send it to.
If you do not have enough footage to put together for a 2-4 minute video as is described in that thread, send the raw footage to Kei through a file sharing website instead. Spread the word out and support the WBO and BeyDays on Twitter and on Facebook! #BEYBLADE #BEYDAYS So Melbourne, Sydney, Arizona, Italy, Texas, Philippines, Vancouver, and whoever else can gather enough Bladers in their area: come and join us in this grand Beyblade celebration! Face Contest: Photography 3! For those of you who really can't attend one of the tournaments, we're still going to keep you up in hype with a new Face Contest! The last one was very popular, and we know you love it, so we're bringing a third photography contest! It's simple: capture a great moment involving one or more Beyblades, upload it on an image-hosting website, and enter it into the Face Contest!
It's time to show off your cool recolour, or a beautiful mix of a landscape with a Beyblade. For more details, check out the topic where you can post your entries: The deadline for this Face Contest is June 2nd 2013.
Good luck everyone! WBO Limited Offer: 20$ BeyStadiums Attack Type!! The WBO brings you yet another awesome exclusivity!
It might be too late for BeyDays, but it's certainly never too late to start up some Beyblade activity in your region. You think you'd be able to gather enough participants already? You know the rules by heart?
Everyone's set on a date and a venue, but all that's missing is a legal stadium? This is exactly what you waiting for! The World Beyblade Organization has acquired a limited set of BeyStadiums Attack Type and will give them away for the really low price of $20 to potential tournament hosts in new parts of the world that are usually quiet when it comes to Beyblading!
These stadiums, the fairest ever made for the Metal Fight Beyblade series, can also complementarily be used for testing! There are just a few conditions that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for this deal:. The Member has to demonstrate clear, on-site efforts to concretise an event in their area, notably with eight or almost eight Bladers basically ready to play at any moment. The region targetted by the Event Proposal has to be new to Beyblade tournaments or, depending on the demand, has to own too few legal stadiums for an event to reasonably run smoothly and quickly.
Of course, the cost for the stadium is $20, shipping included. As it's been implied, we will deal with requests for those stadiums over in the Event Proposals sub-forum. This deal is completely limited, due to production of Attack Type BeyStadiums having been stopped in Japan for some time now, so it's definitely your one and only chance! Grab this opportunity now while you can, and finally give your community what it's been thirsting for all this time!
Have a great BeyDays everyone!! Spread your passion, make it come to life in tournaments, and otherwise have fun during this special celebration! SATURDAY, MAY 25, 2013 On Saturday, May 25th, 2013 during our annual global celebration of Beyblade, BEYDAYS, the best Bladers in North America will gather in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at in order to compete for the prestigious title of WBO North American Champion!!! So, do you think you have what it takes?
BEYBLADE REVOLUTION will be open to the public, but if you don't live near Toronto, you can earn paid travel expenses to Toronto by winning a tournament in the WBO North American Championship Qualifier Series! 4 years ago, the encyclopedia Beywiki was relaunched officially as the World Beyblade Organization.
It introduced a new layout, the Beypoint System - the world ranking system for Bladers, and one other feature. Unfortunately, as part of an obligatory upgrade, the Usermap meant to be a grandiose directory of the Bladers all around the globe stopped working due to a flaw in the plugin's script, sadly right before the boom of growth created by Hasbro's release of Metal Fight Beyblade. Finally however, the BeyMap is back, and better than ever!
![Fight Fight](/uploads/1/2/5/6/125619623/300343856.jpg)
Get ready for the optimal experience as a Beyblader!! If you're shy or wish to remain slightly confidential, no worries: don't hesitate to make your location on the BeyMap as vague as you want. You live in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, Canada? You can either only enter 'Ontario, Canada', or you can write 'Toronto, Ontario, Canada' instead since you'll probably get updates about events there anyway. It's totally up to you!
Being a Blader has truly never been easier! Besides getting all your top info and advice from the experts of the WBO, you can now know very quickly whether there's a Beyblade tournament right in your area, and you'll know where to improve your collection too! With Metal Fury not yet having reached all the regions in the world, and with Shogun Steel, Hasbro's adaptation of Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G, you'll know where to go as soon as it's known! All of these new features definitely incarnate the core principles that the World Beyblade Organization was created with, notably being open to every Blader, informing every Blader, helping every Blader, and realising Blader's dreams. From the beginning, and for years to come, we take our hobby into our hands, and nothing's going to stop us! So now, go share this news with all your friends interested in Beyblade; we wasted time with the downtime of the usermap before, but we've still got 80,000 Members, the official Beyblade Facebook Page has more than 300,000 followers, so we can definitely cover some of the ground we've lost!
If you're on Twitter, we've created a new hashtag just for this: #WBOBeyMap #GameDev #Beyblade On Facebook, you can simply share our! Also, here's one such tournament you will be able to find marked on the BeyMap in the next few weeks and that you can look forward to! Good morning/afternoon/night World Bladers!
The results of the Scavenger Hunt are coming up soon, but for the moment, we wanted to properly promote one of the big Beyblade tournaments of 2013: BEYBLADE COLOSSEUM. Hosted by DarkMousy, this event will be held inside the Carolina Games Summit, a huge gaming convention located in North Carolina, specifically at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro. On February 2nd, the main tournament will happen.
Since there will be many participants, the format will be Double Elimination, adding much stress and excitement to the game! The day after, on February 3rd, DarkMousy will host two smaller events, one with the Zero-G format, and the other, with the Plastics format. Every Blader can find their prefered game! The World Beyblade Organization will of course be sponsoring all of these tournaments, but Youtube's Beyblade Geeks as well as Hasbro have agreed to lend out prizes too! This will be wicked! You can find the official press release written by the Carolina Games summit right here: And here's the Beyblade Geeks' cool video about BEYBLADE COLOSSEUM and their sponsorship: So, if you're in reasonable distance to North Carolina, even if you live in another state, this will definitely be an intense weekend and you really don't want to miss it!
Source: This confirms that the current Zero-G series in Japan will go up to at least 51-52 half-episodes in order to create 26 full half-hour episodes for the Western countries. Therefore, Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G should continue in Japan until March, as usual. Meanwhile, there are still no news about upcoming Beyblade releases from TAKARA-TOMY though. There is no information about approximately when the new Metal Fight Beyblade season 'Shogun Steel' will be broadcast in the Western countries or about when Hasbro plans to start releasing the new Beyblades and whether they will be left intact.
They come in three different capacities, and they're quite cheap! This USB key is ideal to save all your Beyblade content, your tournament-organising software, and many more things! On top of that, a percentage of all sales goes to the World Beyblade Organization as a generous donation from dimsum2u.
Don't waste your time, it's a limited and exclusive offer that you won't find anywhere else! Stop using that ugly, common USB key; yuck. This is a celebration for all of us, so we hope you enjoy everything and have a wonderful day, or even a whole month if you participate in the Face Contest and the Scavenger Hunt! We're all winners here whatever happens, so let's give a wide round of applause! Happy WBO Anniversary! Hey World Bladers, If you're a, please post once in this thread to be entered in the November 2012 giveaway for a brand new BBG-24 Ultimate Synchrom DX Set Attack & Balance Type or BBG-25 Ultimate Synchrom DX Set Stamina & Defense Type!
And to make up for missing out on the monthly giveaways over the past few months, we've decided to giveaway not just one of each of these sets, but two! So, there will be four winners! Bladers who post in this thread and do not possess a Blader Passport will have their posts immediately deleted. To make the deal even sweeter, we will also throw in a free Face Booster for each winner!. Face Booster RED - Face Booster BLUE - Face Booster GREEN - Face Booster ORANGE - Face Booster YELLOW - Face Booster PURPLE This contest will run for eleven days until November 30th, 2012, 11:59:59PM EST. Any Passport Holders who post after that date/time will not be entered. The winners will be announced shortly after the date has passed and will have their prize shipped to them free of charge!
Good luck everyone! Also, be sure to check the list of winners for the if you haven't already! As you know, we have been hard at work on the and we are delighted to inform you that we are 80% complete - almost finished!
The formula revision and tournament data analysis portions of the project are done, and now we are in the process of having a programmer update the BeyPoint system so that the old tournament data can be transformed automatically rather than re-entering 75,000 matches by hand. The programming has taken a little longer than we anticipated, but once it is completed, the Renovation will be complete and BeyPoint processing will then resume immediately at full force. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to letting you know when everything is done! For the occasion, since what's making it exist is each of our 75,000 Members, we're opening the entry to. Absolutely everyone! That's right, simply by posting here, you'll be entered for the BeyLotto; there's no other requirement!
As for the prizes, we decided to be crazy about this whole number, 75. However, 75 doesn't appear much in Beyblade to have an exciting pool of prizes, so we thought a little bit further. We're basically at 75,000 Members from what would be an awesome, even bigger milestone of 100,000 Members, right? So what's 75,000/100,000? Mhm, 0,75; in other words, 3/4! The list of prizes is therefore built all around 3s and 4s!
What's more, it's almost time for the fourth Brad Day.! So, here's the list of prizes, but we're leaving you to guess where the 3s and 4s are integrated! Post your guesses right in this topic.
First of all, 34 winners are going to be able to choose one of these Face Boosters! Good day World Bladers! Hundreds of tournaments later, years of use later, new situations have arisen in our region-based communities that necessitate a change of the formula used in the Beypoint System.
In the goal of getting a more accurate and fair calculation of the Beypoints involved in matches of an event, we are therefore temporarily halting the processing of the tournaments currently in the Beypoint Queue as well as those that are coming up, right until the formula has been modified and is all ready for use. However, we will continue with the processing of Credits and Faces for each tournament! We have added a new section in the thread titled 'Faces and Credits Awarded' which lists the tournaments that have had this done. In short, the new formula will be designed not to punish losers as severely, but also not restrict highly ranked Bladers from gaining points at the peak of their career: it wasn't rare that a player lost Beypoints and fell in the rankings from coming third! This is insane!
Furthermore, tournament size will be taken into consideration in this new calculation: indeed, winning against 28 Bladers is more complicated than coming first against 8 Bladers, wouldn't you say? Double Elimination, which is usually used at tournaments with a high attendance, is also more dangerous to come out victorious from than when you can easily lose just a few times without worrying, heh? We do not have a clear estimate of the delay this will create, but rest assured, this is not the end at all of the Beypoint System: it's in fact a real renaissance! If, however, we observed that the changes took much longer than expected, we would then consider resuming the processing of some more tournaments in the mean time. This does not mean that we will be more lax on the reception of the results and funds from upcoming tournaments though, and just as many events will keep being approved, which is why, in many cases, we need to make sure that the previous tournaments from that region or that host were all cleared before a new one goes ahead. So, we would simply like to ask for your collaboration during this period.
We will of course try to make it as short as possible since we know that you can't wait to compare how you rank compared to others in your area or around the world. This is really in everyone's best interest, since everyone will have a fair chance now! - Not that this was grave news, but here's also some exciting news: today is the beginning of a new series of Face Contests: 'Design this upcoming Beyblade!' Every once in a while, a Face Contest will be started where you will be challenged to imagine what a future Beyblade release will look like. What's even more awesome about this is that the only judge will be time!! In other words, whoever has the design closest to the actual Beyblade that gets released by TAKARA-TOMY will win! Moreover, this winner will actually get the product they designed!!
The first Face Contest to open this series is: 'Design Bandid Gamble!' While the name's spelling is not confirmed, we can guess that it is based on Genbu, so it'll be interesting to see what turtle-based designs you can come up with! Contain your excitement though: we know you love these design Face Contests, but due to the variable and unpredictable nature of the future, perhaps there will be some months without any Face Contests from this series, because this or that release's picture has been leaked too early, for instance! Hey, it's not impossible that there's a downside to always getting the hottest Beyblade news exclusively! But we'll be sure to make the fun exist as often as possible! If something gets officially revealed before the Face Contest is over, also, that means we will have to end it early, for obvious reasons. We hope you are all excited by these pieces of news, and still look forward to more awesome announcements, as usual!
Hey World Bladers, If you're a, please post once in this thread to be entered in the August 2012 giveaway for a brand new BBG-20 Synchrom Booster Bandid Goreim DF145BS! Bladers who post in this thread and do not possess a Blader Passport will have their posts immediately deleted. To make the deal even sweeter, we will also throw in a free Face Booster for the winners! And yes, there will be not one, but two winners!. Face Booster RED - Face Booster BLUE - Face Booster GREEN - Face Booster ORANGE - Face Booster YELLOW - Face Booster PURPLE This contest will run for six days until August 31st, 2012, 11:59:60PM EST.
Any Passport Holders who post after that date/time will not be entered. The winners will be announced shortly after the date has passed and will have their prize shipped to them free of charge! Good luck everyone! Also, be sure to check the list of winners for the if you haven't already!
In this format, only Zero-G Stadiums (Attack, Defense and Balance Type) can be used, and all Metal Fight Beyblades are legal in them. Due to the continuity in the parts used both in the Zero-G Format and in the Standard Format, tournaments following the Zero-G format are going to be processed in the current Beypoint System. Past trials have shown that it's relatively easy to adapt quickly to these new exciting swaying stadiums, so let's do it! Here are a few rules that were added to the which are specific to Zero-G:. A perfectly flat material such as cardboard with no irregularities in its surface must be used below each stadium.
Surfaces which are naturally flat, like laminated wood floors, are good by themselves. Before each round, the stadium must be steadied by the judge. Players should exhibit strong efforts not to touch the stadium during the launch, or at any other moment either. Aside from the traditional methods of winning, a Blader has won a match the moment the opponent's Beyblade starts tumbling over, not once its top face touches the stadium floor (in case this imbalance actually knocks the other Blader's combination before the flip is over). It is likely that the Beyblade has stopped completing revolutions anyway, at that point. A Beyblade is considered out, notably, once all parts of the Beyblade are no longer contained within the stadium.
In the case where a Beyblade gets momentarily stuck in an exit and some pieces of it stick out from the hole, the Beyblade is still legally in play - even if a part of the Beyblade touches the ground. Beyblades must be launched no higher than thirty centimetres above the Stadium Cover. The Stadium Cover is considered legal play area. Well, let the testing formally begin! What'll be top-tier in the tournaments? What can we come up with? More cool announcements coming up too!
In Sunday, July 29th's issue of the Goldsboro paper, a special feature was made: a whole article on DarkMousy's Blader Jam 7.0 tournament at the Tier Zero Gaming shop, and it appeared right on the front page! The article describes DarkMousy's remarkable success in Beyblade tournaments, both as a participant but also as an organizer, and it tells about Beyblade in general as well as the World Beyblade Organization. Other Members like Axel Phantom, DefStamina88 and Smallfry were also interviewed. Without further ado, here are scans of the article, showing the section that appears on the front page as well as the rest of it published on a whole page inside the newspaper: A true success story for a whole bunch of people: DarkMousy, the World Beyblade Organization, the North Carolina Beyblade community, and Beyblade itself! Good job everyone!
